2024 Night Spring Competition

Spring Competition General Information 
  • The season will run on Tuesday evenings at Meadowbank Park over 2 or 3 timeslots (depending on the number of teams registered).
  • Teams will play at the same time each week.
  • The season will begin on Tuesday 17 September 2024 and finish on Tuesday 3 December 2024 which no matches during the School Holidays (1 and 8 October).
  • Winners and runners up will be confirmed after the 10 rounds, there will be no finals series.
  • Woolwich will provide your team with an umpire. The Team Manager is responsible for communicating any forfeits with the team's allocated umpire. 

Grades 
  • JUNIOR: Players 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 years of age (in year of play).
  • SENIOR: Players wishing to play in a Senior Grade must be 14 years of age and over in the year of play.
  • MIXED: Players wishing to play in a Mixed Grade must be 16 years of age and over in the year of play.
 
Age Eligibility
  • Teams in Junior must not have players that are greater than three years older / younger than each other i.e. 12s can play with 13s and 14s but not 15s.  
  • A Representative Player is a player who is selected into any ERNA Junior Representative team including a Development team.  No club shall have more than four (4) Representative Players from the current year in any one team.  An exemption can be made where the registered players have been in the same club team since U10s. Under this exemption, this team must play in a higher age group.

Specific Rules for Mixed 
  • Up to three (3) males per team may be on the court at any one time. Up to five (5) females per mixed team may be on the court at any one time. Both sexes must be represented in a mixed team at all times. A maximum of one (1) male per team may play in each goal circle.
  • Female players may play Senior/Junior and Mixed subject to them meeting age requirements. Female players registered in a Mixed team must also register in a Senior/Junior team if wishing to play in both (and pay the additional $65).
